Our Lord’s Lutheran Church supports families with children birth through 3-years-old with faith formation monthly mailings.
Sunday School
- Sunday School at Our Lord’s is for children ages 3 through High School and meets each Sunday during the academic year at 9:30 a.m.
Elementary age, Pre-K through 5th grade
Children meet in the Worship Center Fellowship Hall for a “Sunday School Opening” including
singing, prayer, and a brief discussion of the daily scripture. Following the opening, students
depart for their various classrooms with their adult leaders.
Middle School, 6th through 8th grade
Students engage in Confirmation curriculum during the Family Education Hour at Our Lord’s. Confirmation provides a lifelong faith foundation for youth, preparing them for full
membership in the Body of Christ, and culminates in the Rite of Confirmation. This program is
a 3-year-program that includes the students participating in various church ministries, field
trips, and assisting during worship services.
The High School youth meet in the Worship Center High School Youth Room with their adult
leaders for snacks, fellowship, and to discuss various scriptural and spiritual topics relevant to
today’s young people.
First Communion
- First Communion Class takes place each Fall and is led by the Pastor. First Communion Class is for students in 3rd grade.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
- Come to Our Lord’s for Vacation Bible School, Wednesday evenings in July. VBS at Our Lord's is intergenerational and all members are invited! This fun faith building experience includes dinner, Bible stories, games, crafts, singing, and growing together in Christ.
High School Youth Group
Our Lord’s Youth Group (OLY)
- Meets Sunday evenings in the homes of the adult leaders for dinner, engaging discussion, group activities, and the planning of service projects for the greater church and community.
Young Families Group
- This group of young families gathers quarterly to participate in fun, age appropriate, local activities.
